Ansonia Philatelic has a need to stress that we, as a group or as individuals, have no affiliation with any political party, past or present. We do not promote any ideals or suggest anything with the materials we list on our site. Items offered for sale or reference are for philatelic purposes only.
While we understand that some materials on this site might be considered offending to some, we apologize and ask that you do not view them at all.
We also understand that some materials on this site might be illegal in some manor (way) either by country or local law. We ask that you be familiar with the laws that govern your ability to view or purchase such materials and abide by these laws and that if you are violating them, please leave this site immediately.
Terms and Conditions:
As with any business there are rules and regulations that must be adhered to, these same rules and regulations provide both you the buyer and us the seller a platform that will eliminate any misunderstanding. Being unable to function without them here they are:
General:
For the purpose of understanding herein the seller Ansonia Philatelic’s will be referred to as ‘We, Us and Our’ and the buyer as ‘You, Your and Their’.
The placing of an order constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions detailed on this page. Venue for both parties in case of dispute shall be the State and County of New York, USA only.
All items are subject to prior sale, and are on a first-come basis. We reserve the right to withdraw an item from sale at any time without notice. We will not be bound to typos or misunderstood statements with regard to any item or material offered for sale. Remember, mistakes happen. We try to minimize mistakes and will work very hard to remedy same.
Payment:
We accept the following forms of payment:
• Personal Checks drawn on US banks payable in US dollars, Money orders from USPS or reputable institutions payable in US dollars and payable to Richard Bailo not Ansonia Philatelics.
•Bank checks payable in US dollars.
• PayPal
Payment in full must be made prior to shipment and before the ownership of the items is transferred to the buyer. Shipment will only be made after the payment has been verified or has cleared. The buyer will be responsible for all bank fees associated with payments and for bank fees incurred as of result of the transaction.
Ansonia Philatelic’s wants your items and collections
We are always looking for new material. We can purchase your items and collection outright, or sell them on consignment. If you are interested in selling items or your collection, please contact us via e-mail.
Please include a description of the material you have to offer and an idea of what you believe your material is worth, including scans couldn’t hurt. Please don’t send any material to us without receiving a notice to do so. We will pay all postage and insurance costs for both sent and returned items. Please Contact Us.
Shipping:
Effective immediately orders will be accepted world wide, free shipping for orders $100.00 and over within the continental United States, insurance extra.
Guarantee:
We have a full money back guarantee for all lots returned within 14 days after receipt in original packing. Please send us an e-mail in advance stating the reason for return, giving us the ability to correct anything we did wrong. We will refund the full price excluding postage and handling costs.
Please note: All auction offers can only be returned if wrongly described or have other not mentioned faults. Collections will be sold as is.
Want Lists: Effective immediately we not be accepting want lists, we will notify everyone when this changes.
Ordering:
If you have any questions. The primary ordering method will be via internet using our shopping cart. We can also fill orders via e-mail but will be subject to confirmation of availability any item(s)and method of payment. In the matter of shipping costs, most orders can be shipped under our basic USPS Priority Mail method.
The buyer always has the option to have their order shipment insured, in fact we urge it. We will not be held responsible for lost material or any damage that was incurred during shipping, including water damage, creasing, crushing, folding or other damage. Should any problems arise of insured parcels please have the carrier indicate same on your receipt and notify us immediately. These requirements will help us resolve any problems and speed the claim process.
